About Wild West Photos

Wild West Photos is an outdoor, western and adventure stock photography agency based in Bozeman, Montana. We provide authentic Western, outdoor and adventure stock photography from Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah and Colorado. The artists represented on the website are not just photographers though, they are fishermen, climbers, hunters, backcountry guides, skiers, hikers, cyclists, teachers, travelers and naturalists. They are full of wanderlust and curiosity and their images capture the spirit and adventure of the the West and beyond. Their work is a constant reminder of just how lucky we are to have these beautiful landscapes as a backdrop to our everyday lives. Places where snow covered mountains fill the rear view mirror and every road is a scenic highway.

We are located in what is known as the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. This boundless landscape is surrounded by nearly twenty million acres of wilderness that include both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. This area is one of the last and largest intact ecosystems left on the planet and provides a wonderful backdrop and tremendous source of inspiration for our stock photography business, and it continues to fuel the website with new and exciting imagery from the many photographers who make this place their home.



The website currently features over 45 photographers from around the region, and contains an image library of over 15,000 photos. But Wild West is more than just a stock photo agency, we are an organization founded by artists, for artists. We are responsible for promoting images to buyers from around the world—buyers who need high-quality outdoor photography to market their own publications, products and services. With over 20 years of design and
marketing experience we understand the difficulties associated with selling photography, and that’s why we’ve created this interactive web-based portfolio. Our love for the outdoors, and a desire to help photographers succeed, means we are driven to rise above the noise of an increasingly busy and competitive marketplace.
