2011 GRAND TETON PHOTO WORKSHOPS
The Grand Tetons are one of the most recognized and photographed mountain ranges in the world, and Wild West Photos is offering a fall photography workshop in this spectacular national park. The class is based out of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and each day the group will visit a variety of locations within the park. Courses are designed with a great deal of flexibility so we can take advantage of photo opportunities as they unfold.
The park is home to a variety of wildlife including, elk, moose, bison, grizzly and black bears. In the year 2000 the park celebrated it's 50th anniversary and is visited by nearly 4 million people each year. The Grand Teton Mountain Range was added to the national park system in 1929 and was expanded in 1943, and again in 1950 to include its present day boundaries. The Grand Tetons are part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem which encompasses nearly 20 million acres of wilderness. This unique ecosystem stretches beyond Yellowstone National Park and into southern Montana. It's the perfect experience for any outdoor/wildlife photographer.
